A Blue Point man has been arrested and is accused of possessing child sexual abuse materials.

Police say they received a tip that led to the arrest of Nicholas Riggio.

According to police, they found sexual abuse images on a cellphone at his home.

The 19-year-old is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child under 16.

Anyone who believes they may be a victim is asked to call police.
